The Xi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Lambda was founded on April 26, 1953
back when Truman State University was known as Northeast Missouri State
University. For over 55 years the Xi Chapter has been one of the most
prestigious social fraternities on campus. Our current house was built relatively
recently in 1999. Today it is the highest valued fraternity house on campus.
The Xi Chapter has a profound brotherhood and we pride ourselves on our
diversity and loyalty, two outstanding characteristics that makes AKL
"no otter fraternity like it!"
